Oh dear oh dear. Lawro has written off Villa`s chance v WBA at the weekend.
The BBC Sport pundit says 2-0 to the Baggies.
"It is always nice to deal your rivals a severe blow so West Brom will be delighted if they can beat Aston Villa and add to their disastrous run of form, which has seen Alex McLeish's men win only one of their last 13 league games. The Baggies have done it before against Midlands opposition, when they thrashed Wolves 5-1 in February, in what was Mick McCarthy's last game in charge at Molineux."
He points out their win v Liverpool will put them on a high for their home game v their local rivals.
"whereas Villa just cannot buy a goal right now. McLeish had to bring Emile Heskey back into his starting XI against Bolton and the last time he scored was on 20 August."
Adding, "Villa play well in patches - for example, they started well against Bolton - but it looks to me as if they are waiting for something to happen. It is - they are sinking fast."

Often in sport, the more probable one result seems, it goes the other way. Chelsea Vs Bayern anyone? So on the basis Villa win (please Lord)

Against all logic and odds, I'm tipping us to scrape the win we need. Baggies had the luck at our place when herd was wrongly sent off. I think we are due a few refereeing decisions. 1-0 win, penalty and foster to be sent off.

Heart says 0-0 - head says 1-0 to Albion...never been good at this prediction game. After saying that, I did get 24 pts on the Littlewoods pool some years ago........ there was 23 score draws, I got 10 quid for my 24pts - but thats a different story.
