Doug Wades In Over McLeish - Might Surprise A Few!

Allow me a moment of silliness fellow Villans!

I`ve had Doug Ellis thrown back in my face a few times this season due to my 'role` in anti Doug protests etc.

The old Doug arguments are passed us now but so many have said to me that Doug would have sacked McLeish by now and at least he got us (ie got the fans)

Did he?

Doug Ellis today said:

'It would be foolish for McLeish to go. Despite the fact most of the fans are upset he came from Birmingham, McLeish is a good manager."

So, our 'good` manager has the worst home record ever.

And all our hard work informing press that the dislike of Alex McLeish undone by the former Chairman.

Cheers Doug!

So maybe next time I`m on the road following Villa, or trying to 'enjoy` the torture at Villa Park, you could refrain from the bile and foaming mouth crap about Doug. He`s gone, he had to go, he is now an irrelevance. The current situation is far more pressing.

End of silly mode!

are we really taking this at face value? It is part of a concerted pr campaign since the bolton game, along with tthe statement and sending out a few players to take the heat off the useless *****.

It's good to see ol' Dougie hasn't lost his sense of humour! "McLeish is a good manager" hahahaha classic!

In fairness I don't think, given his club role, he would turn around and say, "I woods have sacked him by now, in fact I never would have hired him". He b also seems to be going along with the belief that most fans are upset about where he come from, not his inability to do the job. The media think it, abd I honestly think Lerner and Faulkner think it. It's unspeakably insulting.

No surprise, Doug has no idea or cares what Villa fans think or feel. He was exactly the same during his tenure as Chairman. It will always be the Witton Lane Stand.

Of corse Herbert is going to say this, he has probably been begged by Randy to say this to the fans, it's no coincidence that some folk on here the other day wanted Herbert to intervene and today he comes out with this rubbish. Jog on the bloody lot of you so called Villa men.

How could he slag him off??? Randy has got everyone talking what makes him look like a good owner. Don't take the *****. We all know that Doug wouldn't have employed him, let alone waited until now to sack him!!! Maybe in his first few years but Doug was ruthless down to experience, something Randy will never get due to never being here and something that he should have already from his time with the browns!!

Pathetic article, IMHO. Perhaps you would have been better off putting a little more effort into scrutinising the current incumbent and his obvious severe limitations and continued cock-ups, with your position on this site, rather than continuing your vendetta against a man that left the club 6 years ago JF. It's funny, but you don't seem so keen on that. Perhaps certain people are getting exactly what they deserve with the current Villa debacle, and Doug is having a little chuckle to himself? Karma anyone?

Ellis is making the sam eas the national press, Ian Wright, and loads of other retards who just don't get it - it's not where he came from, it's where he's taking us! If we had a poll today, I bet more than 50% of us would take Chris Hughton tomorrow. Wish they would stop labouring this irrelevant point.

lets be honest Ellis always talked nonsense, you only have to listen to his interviews when he was still chairman and his endless rantings of how he was determined to win the "Preemiiership" (not a spelling error)but would never provide the means.Always delusional, lived in cloud cuckoo land. He has no say in affairs now and should shut up and be grateful he,s still allowed a seat.
