Play Off Date Set For Second String

Villa will face Man U on May 10 in the Play Off Final to determine the winner of the Barclays Premier Reserve League.

The match kicks off at Old Trafford at 7pm and will be a repeat of the 2010 final which United won after penalties.

Whilst few would mind seeing another 3-3 cracker in normal time, I'm sure KevMac wil have them practicing from the spot this time round!

It'll be a tougher game this time round with the youngsters coming into the reserve side, and most of the more experienced lads now in the first team, but one thing is for sure, they won't let us down.

Why at their place again - is that because they beat us in the one fixture between the 2 clubs this season. Presuming we are safe, is there any reason why we cannot send a really strong term to reflect the reality of out reserve set up this season with Weimann, Herd, Lichaj, Carruthers, Baker etc all involved as well as the cream of the current team?? This is the biggest match in Manchester this season - not some moneyful meaningless derby.

Seems strange (one sided) if it's a one off at it's at their place again............ but hey, we're talking Manure. It's a pity it couldn't be played in London or Ireland so their supporters don't have so far to travel.................
