The Dingles CAN Sing... Why Don't We?!

I was watching the Wolves v Citeh game yesterday and leaving the game to one side I was decidedly impressed by the Wolves fans.

Now the last time I went to the Molineux was the season before last and the Dingles were so quiet it was embarrassing, the odd taunt but pretty much nothing all game and that has pretty much been the same each time I've bothered making the short trip into yam yam land over recent years.

Yesterday was quite different though the North bank were in fine voice and there was a great banter between the North and South banks. The best chant was definitely 'we're the north stand and we'll sing on own' to the tune of the Van Persie scores when he wants chant.

It reminded me of the days when the Holte was standing and the left side and right side would generate banter backwards and forwards 'the left side, the left side', 'can you hear the left side ! sing', 'the right side give us a song' etc would ring out if games were dull or the atmosphere dropped.

As entertainment on the pitch is scarce these days wouldn't it be great if we could generate some atmosphere at VP by banter amongst our own fans especially when the opposition turnout is poor or deathly quiet.

With the North stand now firmly home support the ground is ideally set up for banter between the holte and the north stand and who knows we might even get a song out of the Trinity or Witton.

It would be far more lively atmosphere than droning on about our neighbours down the road and could supplement nicely the limited number of chants that are heard around VP these days.
