Joint Tributes For Bolton

Joint Tributes For Bolton

Fans have come together with the hope of holding a joint tribute for Stiliyan Petrov and Fabrice Muamba when the two clubs meet on Tuesday.

My Old Man Said & Proud to be a Villan have called on fans to take part in an additional show of support when Villa take on Bolton.

They want fans to cheer and applaud on the 6th minute of the game (Muamba's shirt number) as well as our own on the 19th minute for Petrov.

I think it's a great gesture, and I'm sure it's something that fans of both Villa and Bolton will get behind.

Will be a nice gesture, two tragedies fallen on two great individuals at good clubs...I think we will struggle to get anything, Bolton need a win and they will get it.

Great gesture. Followed later by plenty of abuse for McMuppet hopefully.

Yep, nice gesture, but what is more important is 3 points!

Lads I know feelings are high, but can we keep this non political. It's about Stan and Muamba. I'm sure you'll agree their lives are more important than 3 points and football fullstop.

I'm with Fieldy. Shows a real human side to the game. Great idea to honor the two players.

I like the 4th minute four home wins tribute idea - we should do that for a laugh anyway. Maybe the line-up should be: 3th min - in honour of the memory of our last 3 points 4th min - in honour of four home wins 6th min - Fabrice 15th min - 15 Villa draws this season 19th min - Stan etc, etc. It would certainly bring back to atmosphere to Villa Park! http://www.myoldmansaid.com/villa-bolton-6th-19th-minute-tributes-statement/
