Hopeful On Gabby, Collins Likely Out

Alex McLeish has said he is hopeful that Gabby will be fine for the Bolton game, but he doesn't think James Collins will make it.

With both players having to be substituted in today's game against Sunderland, the initial prognosis wasn't too good, but it seems that Gabby's injury isn't quite as bad as first feared.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the game our manager explained that he had hope for Gabby returning in time for our 15 pointer against Bolton, but he was very doubtful that Collins would be fit in time for Tuesday:

'James has got to be doubtful, it's difficult to see someone recovering when they have pulled a groin muscle. Gabby is better news. He has a shoulder injury, but we believe he could play on Tuesday - so we will keep our fingers crossed for Gabby leading the line again.'

Will we see Warnock restored to the side or will we finally get to see Clarkie get another run out at centre back?

Why get excited about Gabby or Heskey for that matter leading the line ... both show a lotos huff and puff but neither score on a regular basis ... thats our problem .... stick another youngster in at least they will have more of a go. Why not

Ain't bothered if neither make it for Tuesday TBH.

Heskey and Weimann seemed to work together quite well. Weimann got on the end of the flick ons several times
