Petrov's In Good Spirits

Petrov's In Good Spirits

I've seperated this from the after match comments, so 'feelings' can be expressed appropriately.

Speaking to the Official Site McLeish revealed that Stan had been in to training on Saturday and that he looked good and was in fine spirits.

'Stan is good, he was at training. He looks great, he has a new haircut, it suits him, it looks fantastic. He was having a laugh with the players. We think the world of Stan and I am sure he will be there to rally the players in the coming games.'

Great news. That the treatment seems to be going well is the only positive thing to come out of the Villa for quite some time. Get well Stan.

The 19th minute. Every game. Home and away. Until he has beaten this terrible illness. There's only 1 Petrov.

Great to hear it, when he recovers Stan should always be part of the Villa setup. His attitude is an inspiration to us all.
