Pre Man U Injury News - People Are Fit!!!

Alex McLeish has revealed that a number of our walking wounded are now fit and ready to go against United.

Speaking to the Official Site McLeish was pleased to see Carlos Cuellar, Ciaran Clark, Charles N'Zogbia and Nathan Delfouneso all passed fit for the United clash.

However it's not all good news as Chris Herd remains out following his head injury and Stephen Warnock is classed as 'touch and go' with the ankle injury he sustained. Fabian Delph is also close to a return and should be back before the season ends, but United does come too quickly for him.

'Charles, Carlos, Ciaran and Nathan are all available. Chris will miss out because of a head knock. Fabian has trained this week, this game is too soon for him.'

A bit more competition for places again does please McLeish, who singled out that the return of Delfouneso should be good for both him and Weimann:

'Nathan has looked sharp in training, he would want to play catch up on Andreas I would think. That would be an incentive.'

Ciaron Clark replacing Chris Herd as the holding midfielder is the obvious choice. After saying that, we'll have quite a number of "holding midfielders" on the pitch tomorrow I'd imagine.

I always felt that Delph could flourish if he got a regular start at one of the lower Prem teams. Looks like now could be his time.

I dont think Delfounso is in the same class as weimann. Delfounso has been about for a couple of years and my fear is he will go the same way as Luke and Stefan Moore. Weimann on the other hand seems the real deal and I just hope he plays until the end of the season instead of a mule heskey.

HOpefully Weimann will spur the Fonz on.
