Walking Wounded Update

Chris Herd was taken straight to hospital following his unfortunate incident in our penalty box, and Stephen Warnock is set for a scan tomorrow.

Herd close up

Speaking to the Official Site Alex McLeish explained that Chris Herd went straight to hospital after what looked like a clash of heads to begin with, before he then unfortunately landed on his noggin:

'Herdy has a head knock. He wasn't unconscious so we're hopeful there's no concussion. He will go to hospital and get a check up. He was feeling a bit sick at the end of the game, but fingers crossed he's ok.'

As for Stephen in the War with more nocks, he added:

'Stephen went over his ankle, landed badly and he will get a scan and x-ray tomorrow.'

At the moment Warnock's in a protective cast, but it doesn't appear on the face of things to be a long term worry.

Herd was awesome : )

Hope both are fit for Manure. They both put in a good shift yesterday.
Pride of Lions
Herd is vital and Warnock gets way more abuse than is justified. Both players put 100% in every game and we need them both fit asap.
AVbornandbred
Thought both were good yesterday, Herd looked solid against tough physical opponents and even Warnock put in a good shift in a position which was out of his comfort zone.
