Villa Fans Calling For 19th Minute Ovation

This seems to be gathering pace.

I'm sure his name will be sung, in support, throughout to be fair, but a nice idea that is easy to pass on:

After 19 minutes tomorrow please stand and applaud as Villa fans tribute to our Captain Stiliyan Petrov.

So now we're gonna sing his name!?! I've said many times that I think it is a disgrace that Petrov's name is NEVER sung. Has he even got a song? I know his name hardly trips off the tongue but Still(iyan), he has been out captain for a number of years now.

I'm a Spurs fan. My family and I are truly sorry to hear your skipper is unwell and we will all be thinking about him sincerely and constantly. Good luck SP.

You'll are a better club than 15th . But hope you do not prove that against us today :-) . Sorry about Petrov, best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Nice idea paul m. Either way the sentiment is a great way of galvanising the fans and the team in support of our great captain. Go win for the skipper boys. How about a chant of "Stan.....yes you can" repeatedly? UTV.

Thanks ZeeNut, nice comment. Long fight ahead for Stan, makes all of the rest of this feel a bit irrelevant.
