There's no way you'll go down. The bottom free are shocking, there's no way back for any of them, and even if they somehow manage to claw their way out, Bolton and Blackburn are waiting to drop back in. Relax.

I wouldnt want to bet on it,its 50/50 at the mo,i cant see a Villa win in sight,we are as shocking as the bottom 3 to be honest. Hold on,its going to be a right rollercoaster ride right to the end of the season.

I dont think we'll go down this season... if we lose at home to bolton then it's going to be very scary. Think we'll finish between 15th - 17th and on less than 40 points, which is shocking. Does anyone know what other records McLoser is in danger of breaking? EG, whats our lowest ever points / goals total for the season? He's already delivered our worst ever home run in the premier league. Enough is enough already - MCLEISH OUT.

The club have really succeeded this season in creating such a defeatist attitude among the fans. Last season against Sunderland and Wolves the crowd voiced its displeasure against the manager, now i'm not condoning the level of animosity directed at Houllier but atleast there was passion and spirit in the crowd. What has happened this year? McLeish is taking us down and we are going down with a whimper

Not so much of a whimper mcmuppetout.co.uk. Did you hear the away support vent their anger at McMuppet at Wigan. Did you not see the protests before the season started? The club have put a stranglehold on the press. They are searching fans prior to home games to ensure no anti McMuppet banners get in. I honestly believe that on the next home in which the team surrenders (and that could be tomorrow because I feel a performance similar to ManCity, Manure, Swansea coming up) I think the whole of Villa Park will unite against him. Historically we have voted with our feet. Despite the rubbish spouted by Faulkner and co, Season ticket sales will do for McMuppet. I had great delight in putting some club literature sent to me back in the post, marked 'return to sender' and McLeishOut on it. The club gets the return postage bill and a message demanding that the ginger one be removed. I suggest everybody puts 'return to sender' on any literature that they receive from the club, with a message on it demanding McMuppets removal!!!!

For me wolves and wigan are down. The only thing in our favour is QPR's fixtures, they play the top 6 in their remaining 8 games, ouch. I did premiership predictor thing as honestly as possible and i think we will finish 17th just above QPR

Yeah, gutted for Stan. Always the good guys!! If Eck even slightly uses this as any sort of Eckscuse for anything, I will personally go down to the dugout, so helpe McGrath.

Terrible news, but leukaemia is one of the most curable forms of cancer. He will be getting the best treatment. Fingers crossed and thinking about him. Good luck and get well soon Stan!
