Mystic Mug Has Had Enough Of Lack Of Belief!!!

Mystic Mug gave Villa a chance v Arsenal and predicted a draw. As most know now, Villa were a disgrace and didn't` even bother turning up (see: Tony Cascarino Feels Sorry For 'Numb' Villa Fans ) but now the Muggy one has thrown his hands up in the air in a right old strop. He says he`s never minded losing but cannot accept the lack of effort and the excuses this season.

He says Chelsea, who are in a streak of indifferent form, will enjoy our lack of effort on Saturday and backs Torres to find his shooting boots.

84-1 (the 1 an own goal)

Meanwhile, somewhat more sensibly, he really thinks 3-1.

Meanwhile (again....!) Lawro says on BBC Sport that he expects Chelsea to win 2-0.

"The best thing I can say about Chelsea at the moment is that their interim manager Roberto di Matteo {a manager a few of us were banging on about wanting in the summer by the way!!! JF...} is using his common sense. Their performance when they beat Benfica in the Champions League on Tuesday was akin to how they played away from home in Europe two or three years ago." Adding, "All the players are playing for Di Matteo and it is a good scenario for him. He has got some impressive results since taking over and they know he is in charge."

And on our beloved team, Lawro says he worries about us!

"They never looked like they were ever going to score or even remotely trouble Arsenal in their 3-0 defeat at the Emirates Stadium last week. If you sit back against the Gunners, then you are asking for trouble. You have got to pose a threat at the other end because, if not, you are just enticing their full-backs and Thomas Vermaelen forward. And I cannot see Villa having any joy against Chelsea either. The Blues are in a good place at the moment."

They all see it don`t they?

It isn`t about the winning and losing, it is the total lack of spirit, the total lack of belief and I`m sorry, that comes from the manager. We are told they are confident before a game and then after that we can`t expect to go and win and have to be realistic. Did we not go there last season and win?

I could go on.

Such sad news about Stan. Here's hoping for a full recovery. Suspect playing career may be over though.....
