Burton Albion Friendly Announced

Aston Villa have announced that they will travel to the Pirelli Stadium ahead of our tour of the US.

The friendly with the league two side takes place on July 14 and will kick off at 3pm.

The pre-season schedule therefore currently looks like this:

Burton Albion - away - 14/7/12 - 3pm
Philadelphia Union - away - 18/7/12
Chicago Fire - away - 21/7/12
Portland Timbers - away - 24/7/12

Burton eh, what's happens to the Walsall fixture now then.Burton haven't been in the league too long,couple of years ?, but they went to United in the cup a few seasons ago.Another one of my localish teams.Will be good for them and ''maybe a win for us'',only maybe a win for us though.

If Idiot is still in the managers' chair when we get to the Pirelli Stadium, we'll certainly he going for a burton next season - if we survive this one.........

For a Villa fan living in Burton-Upon-Trent, whooo-hooo! Lot of stick from the locals if we lose though. Advice for parking, pubs, etc...just ask.
