Vote Of Confidence To Weimann - MOTM

Ahem, man of the match v Arsenal and the winner shows Alex McLeish that he might not stand by his young players during his finger pointing (to anyone but him) but the claret and blue faithful always will

Pity he won't be rewarded with a start against Chelsea.........

Disgraceful. If he can't score four goals to get us a result against Arsenal he should never wear a Villa shirt again. McLeish was correct in his summing up . . . . it is Weimanns fault for the defeat. Please join me in singing ' we love you Alex we do, we love you Alex we do, we love you Alex we do, oh Big Eck we love you'.

Interesting because as much as I dislike mcleish I can't help but feel that people hear what they want to. For me it was a rather half baked display of defending Weiman saying that he gets into those positions and would normally score. Like most things mcleish does, it could have been done far better. I don't expect Weiman to start against Chelski but I'd be surprised if he didn't make an appearance and I suspect he'll be a starter by the end of the season even with Mcleish in charge.
