No N'Zogbia Rift - McLeish

Alex McLeish has rubbished suggestions that he has had a falling out with Charles N'Zogbia following another misquoted French interview.

Well actually he doesn't dismiss the fall out, N'Zogbia got it wrong!



Speaking to Sky Sports after the latest PR hiccup, Eck said:

'I'm quite a laid back manager. If the players are doing it for me on the pitch, then it's not a problem. They will get in the side, it's as simple as that. I was supposed to have said something about Charles spending money on fast cars. I've no reason to single Charles out, I was talking in general. Charles realises that now.'

And what was this immortal comment about cars that sent Zoggy off the deep end?

'I was doing a rallying cry to the players to be winners. I said 'think about being a winner before you reward yourself with a fast car'.'



Horrifying stuff isn't it. No wonder he couldn't cope?

Well this confirms the quotes weren't old rehashes then, and I must say I can feel N'Zogbia's pain. In his position I'd have run to the nearest French journalist and whinged like a baby aswell.

It really is time some of these players got over themselves.
