G'Day Brett!
Chris Herd has welcomed fellow Aussie and barbie lover Brett Holman to the Villa as he thinks the move will be bonzer.
Erm, this 'sarvo' Herdy said he didn't give a Castlemaine XXXX about anything else other then the impending arrival of his new surfing buddy from AZ Alkmaar.
Okay, I haven't watched Neighbours since I was about 14 and that's about all I can remember apart from that annoying advert dealing with budgie smugglers and waxing. Hoo-root!
It's also possibly as far as I'm prepared to go in unfairly stereotyping both Holman and Herdy!
Anyway, speaking to the Official Site Herd said he believed that Holman's move would be a fantastic opportunity for both the club and player, and he expects him to find his feet relatively quickly and bring a nice spark of experience to our midfield:
'Brett's a fantastic player, just look at the amount of games he's played for Australia and AZ Alkmaar, big games in the Champions League and at the World Cup. He has loads of experience, he's won things and that experience will really help us.'

However, I watched Neighbours, it was always 'thisarvo' and I carried the S. XXXX is far better than Fosters, even if I haven't been able to find a pub serving it in the last decade - actually yeah, an old man's beer! Hoo-root, haven't you watched those Fosters adverts with Holly 'mmmmmmm' Valance mate. Maybe I invented the T? Sounds like she says root, not roo but to be honest when she's on the TV my ears aren't my prime sense.
A fair few talk like dickheads in the UK, btw lol
