'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Warnock Hails Young Guns

Stephen Warnock has hailed the impact of our youngsters following the Fulham victory.

Speaking to the E&S Warnock hailed the Weimann goal after a nifty combination between Bannan and Gardner opened up the chance for the young Austrian.

'The young lads have managed to keep themselves sharp and they keep the place bubbling around the training ground. It's great for the atmosphere, but they also know how to put the performances in on the pitch.'

Warnock also warned the fans about expecting too much too soon from the former Academy graduates, but he obviously doesn't doubt their natural talents.

'They need time, you can't just throw them in and expect big things. They are young player and they need a bit of time, but they're really good.'

I completely agree here with Warnock, after all, look how long it's taken the seniors to achieve big things this season...oh right, doh.
