LOL ! No chance. Mowing the lawn and washing the car is more fun than watching a team under Eck. Those of you who have, dont moan about McLeish. Voting with your feet is the only way....

Will renew soon as McMuppet goes. If he stays, the club, for failing to listen to its supporters loses me, my daughter (who will never return unless I do) and the spare ticket that I buy that is used by the good lady, my pal or daughters pal on a match by match basis. The three season ticket holders in front of me have already stopped attending and leave their seats free every game. After 40 odd years, I have the finances and the desire, but McMuppet (and Randy for this mistaken appointment) and the clubs heavy handed and stupidly naive prevention of protest against him have done for me and my family. I am also advising the corporate venture I am involved with that is currently worth £30K a year to the club, to stop all involvment with the club whilst McMuppet is the Manager. So in total by alienating me the club loses £31K plus cup revenue and merchandise. It will not bankrupt the club. But as I was refused entry on Saturday with my Eck Out banner, boycott is the only option left. It is my choice. I respect those who want to watch the McMuppet style of football and support the club no matter what, but I urge those who want him out, to do the same. The club came in with a vow to listen to supporters. They lied. UTV McMuppet Out.

Fair play - voiceoftheholte. I canned my ticket last year, as working with ex-nose apprentice player, I knew first hand what we were letting ourselves in for with McMuppet - and his warnings were spot on. Its a disgrace that Lerner pushed through with the appointment, and won't be getting a penny off me either.

Am I renewing my season Ticket? No. I will renew when we get rid of McCleish.

Before you renew it is worth noting that the club are selling any ticket, anywhere in the ground for a tenner, for the Bolton game. All you have to do is know a season ticket holder. Not sure what the incentive is to buy season ticket if the club are having to resort to giving the tickets away to watch the McMuppet style of football. You simply couldn't make it up could you? Instead of getting a good manager who the fans would be happy to pay top dollar to fill the ground for, we get a manager the fans don't want and then reduce prices to try and keep attendances up above the 30,000 level. The club have simply gone stark raving mad. So what could happen now is that fans will pay a tenner to see us against Bolton and because it is likely to be a typical dour McMuppet affair, these fans will then be expected to pay more for other games. The simple logic dictates if the fans do not like what they see for a tenner, there is absolutely no chance of getting to pay more in the future. It also infuriates season ticket holders to know that the bloke next to him has paid LESS for his match ticket despite only attending once in a blue moon!!!! Well done Villa, you have finally lost the plot!!!

The poll currently shows less than half of fans will renew their ticket whilst McMuppet is in charge. If this was actually reflected in Season Ticket sales, then it would cost the club more to keep McMuppet than to get rid of him. A boycott of season tickets will force the boards hand. They will have to get rid of him. Boycot Boycott Boycott!!!!!!

I think the most concerning stat in the poll is the 20% who will not renew full stop whether McLeish is manager or not..That tends to reflect the reducing interest in football not just Villa...Too much money, no chance of the vast majority of teams winning anything and the fact that the game is becoming non-contact..Who rerally wants to watch fast moving chess? Good, hard HONEST tackles were a major part of the entertainment for me..I believe the lack of tackling is a major reason for the poor atmosphere at matches..I am in the 'unsure' bracket (and I have had a season ticket since 1968)..Partly because of poor football, but also I don't like the way the game is played anymore.
