'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Exciting - Defender Linked

Apparently we are interested in Fortuna Dusseldorf defender Assani Lukimya-Mulongoti.

The Daily Mail carries quotes from the player saying he is flattered by the links to us.

The 26 year old has been capped three times by Congo and he said:

'My dream is to one day play in the Premier League. I am flattered by the link with Aston Villa as they are a great club.'

Well that was exciting and interesting and I'm sure it'll never happen.

I suppose it all depends on who isactually interested in him.

By purchasing another defender, does this mean that our wingers, attackers etc. won't have to defend all game??
Villan444
Yes - they will be on the bench ready to take over defending when the defnders get injured. Until McIdiot has stamped his personality on the team and has a team of defenders including subs.

cost a bomb to get his name on the back !!!
