Halfway To Acorns Day Target

Halfway To Acorns Day Target

Villa are already halfway to achieve the £50,000 target for the Acorns Day at Fulham thanks to club staff and fans.

Acorns online Ebay store is already carrying a host of goodies such as Ian Bell's signed cricket bat, track day experiences and even the corner flag from the Wolves game and club staff haven't been too tardy either in helping the raise the target to a whopping £25,000 already.

Staff at Villa Park and Bodymoor Heath have taken part in cake sales and raffles, laps of the pitch to silly dares, to even care washes to help raise valuable funds for the club's chosen charity.

It's now hoped the other £25,000 will be made up from the activities taken place on Saturday ahead of the game, and the raffles and collection points that will be available.
