You`ve got to laugh!? Haven`t you? Joke: Alex McLeish v Sir Ron Of Saunders (Joke)

Hmmm, not sure this has gone down well, also not convinced it is true to be fair. Do they look like players 100% behind the manager? Robbie Keane has insisted that the players at Villa are 100% behind the manager. Speaking to Talksport our former loanee said that fan unrest wasn't helpful to the team and that contrary to opinion, the players are completely behind the gaffer. 'I heard someone saying about the manager that the players are not behind him but that is totally wrong. I have only been here a short space of time but I can see the players are 100% behind Alex McLeish.' Full article: Robbie Keane: Players Are Behind The Manager

Errr... why? Stephen Ireland has said he will end his International exile following the European Championships. Speaking to the E&S Ireland explained that he felt the time was right to make himself available to Ireland again and mend some bridges along the way, but he wouldn't do so before the European Championships as it would be unfair for him to capitalise on the hardwork that others had done in securing qualification. The new date for the 18 pointer against Owen Coyle's Bolton team has been set. The game was due to take place on March 18 but has been postponed due to their continuing participation in something called the FA Cup. It's a name a remember from history, but I don't think it's been of interest to us for the last few years. The new date has been set as March 20 and it'll kick off at Villa Park at 7.45pm.

Tony McAndrew has expressed his delight at seeing an all Academy midfield turn out for the first team against Wigan. Full article: McAndrew Delighted With Academy Midfield At Wigan

Villa have announced a record £53.9m loss for the last financial year, although revenues have grown to equally record levels. Now I haven't seen the figures myself and there are better placed on the forum to give their thoughts, I'm going off the figures published by the Official Site earlier today.
