Chris Herd is stepping up his fitness in tonight's reserve clash against Swansea.

For anybody travelling the game takes place at Park y Scarlets and kicks off at 7pm.

Sounds like a Burlesque club...not that I know what that is you realise.

Erick Lichaj and Nathan Baker are also in the squad, which has a number of changes owing to a number of our youngsters being away on international duty.

Andy Weimann is away with the Austrian U21's. Bannan is in the senior Scotland squad and Gardner is in the England U21s.

Villa:

Siegrist, Lichaj, Williams, Herd, Webb, Baker, Robinson, Johnson, Taylor, Carruthers, Cameron.

Subs:

Grealish, Barrett, Graham, Lewis, Caira.

I initially read that as "Chris Herd to Swansea". As in on loan or something. Thankfully such un-needed anguish only lasted for a second.
