'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Martinez Fears N'Zogbia

Roberto Martinez has said he is a little worried that Charles N'Zogbia will find his form when the two teams meet and he'd rather he came good later.

Speaking to Sky Sports the Wigan manager said he was hoping Charlie wouldn't put in a performance he was capable of, but he did back him to come good at the Villa saying his lack of form is just one of those things that can happen to a player when they do make a move:

'It happens when you move sometime, you take a bit of time to settle in. What is clear is the class of Charles, he is a special player.'

As for us, whilst he said he didn't regret his decision not to speak to us about the vacant chair, he realises it's an important game for both sides but he thinks we are in a false position:

'They should have more points than they have now so they are in an unrealistic position.'

Should we have more points? I'm not so sure myself. Maybe a couple in games we should've won that we did dominate this season, but we are hardly talking about points that would catapult us into the higher reaches of the upper half.

We should have more points? Looking back at our results, QPR(a), Sunderland, Arsenal and QPR(h) stand out. Maybe around 7 or 8 more points which would put us 8th where Norwich are. It was then I realised Norwich were 7 points ahead of us in 8th place. Wow.
