WHY NOT GO FOR IT? Lawro v Mystic

Here we go, crunch game number one (then Blackburn, then Fulham... was going to be Bolton as well but that game will be re-arranged)

Lawro is predicting a 1-1 draw for Wigan v Aston Villa.

Well, at the very least we MUST NOT lose these games, if they are below us, they stay that way if we draw. See? They said I was no good at maths at school but I`ve worked that out all on my own.

Lawro told the BBC site:

" This is a difficult time for Aston Villa. Their manager Alex McLeish is trying to change the way they play and give them a really solid defensive background but they just don't seem to be buying into it. One reason for that might be they are not that good at the back, and you would probably say the best players in McLeish's team are his forwards."

He also points out we`ve only got one point from a possible nine and that we are in danger of being pulled down into the relegation battle.

He also sees what we all see:

"I just feel they might be better if McLeish lets them off the leash a little bit and plays to their strengths. Maybe they are not creating enough chances, because Darren Bent will score if you give him the opportunity. So why don't they go for it?"

Why not go for it Alex? After all, you aren`t a negative manager according to your good self. We should be looking at three wins on the trot. Tell the players to go out, play their hearts out and RIOT!

He says of Wigan, "If Wigan can deal with Keane, I'd fancy them to nick a win. The Latics had a great result last time out against Bolton and showed what they are capable of. They have a habit of playing quite well at home and still getting beaten. That needs to stop, and a point on Saturday would be a good start."

Mystic Mug was going for a draw but has got an opti hat on this morning, he says 1-0 to the Villa.
