McLeish has told Sky he doesn't know if Robbie Keane might return or not. "We have to see where we are in terms of recruitment in the summer but Robbie has had a good influence on the place. Where he is right now probably has a glamorous feeling about it but at the same time he's got a bit of adulation from Villa fans so maybe that has probably whetted his appetite."

I can't believe some people are saying no. I live in China, and have to watch the Villa on T.V, and I can can see exactly what he brings to the team. Some people must be blind or stupid.

Lets be logical hes a decent player but i want better at our club... iv watched him much more than any of you guys and thats a fact... Ireland was cast out wide when robbie was here and he needs to be playing central... creative midfielder to set up goals for bent or a player he gets a couple of goals but spends the rest of the time running after the ref with his hands in the air? plus he's old as *****, has high wages and prob an unrealistic asking price... not to mention the fact theres better players available for what we would get keane for... I would prefer him to heskey all the same and he's prob a better left back than warnock
