Injuries Frustrate Gabby

Gabby Agbonlahor has said he is hopeful of a return to action against Man City this weekend as he's been staying behind after training to get his fitness up.

Speaking to the Official Site Gabby explained that he has been out with a familiar problem, a back spasm/hamstring issue that has dogged him recently.

'It's been really frustrating being out injured, so I'm working hard to get back. It's been annoying with the back and hamstring problem I've had, but it's improving. I've been staying behind after most players have gone for the day to do additional work to get fit. I'm really eager to be back as soon as I can. Manchester City is going to be a big match and, if possible, I want to be involved.'

Be good to get Gabby back properly fit and fully over his back/hamstring issues. The club and he, must have some idea of why it keeps occuring so fingers crossed the change in his training routine will bear fruit over time.

Cmon Gabby lad, we need ya, hope he can make the bench at least great impact of pace and strength to call upon, i remember that hat-trick against Citeh few years back on the opening day of the season, so i expect no less! ;)

and its Aston Villa ASTON VILLA FC were by far (well in our own eyes with a board and a manager/players that can be bothered to put in 110% and die for the team) the great team the world has ever seen --- repeat multiple times whilst standing up arms raised high and making sure that next door and the door after cant stand it that they havt to join you
