Herd Close To Return

Alex McLeish has said that Chris Herd is progressing well following his injury and it won't be long before he's back in full training.

Speaking to Sky Sports McLeish said that Herdy was now working with the physio and that it shouldn't be long before he rejoins the lads in full training.

'Herd is making very good progress, the physio is putting him through his paces. He is not feeling his injury at all now which is great news and the kid is really positive about getting himself fit again, he was doing really well before the injury.'

Good news, when he's back maybe he can take his place again and put Clark at CB instead of Dunne.
