McLeish Backs Zog To Recreate QPR Form

Alex McLeish has called on Charles N'Zogbia to replicate the form he showed in the game against QPR and punish his former club at the weekend.

Speaking to the Official Site McLeish described N'Zogbia as 'electric' in the 2-2 draw and he says that's the type of performances we should be seeing from him consistently.

'That display has got to spark Charles now. He is a player of gifted ability but he has to bring it more consistently as he did in the second half against QPR. He was much better, much more in keeping with a player of his stature.'

It was certainly a performance that was long overdue even if the result was disappointing. If we go into Newcastle like we did in the first 20 minutes we'll be crucified again, but if we can start the match with the form, the effort and desire we played with in the second half there is no reason why we can't win comfortably and take all 3 points.
