Stephen Ireland and Emile Heskey are set to return to training on Friday, but the club are still waiting to hear about Charles N'Zogbia.
Ireland's hamstring and Heskey's achilles injuries are nearly behind them and both players worked with fitness coach Adrian Lamb today ahead of a return to full training.
Both players are expected to be in contention for the Arsenal cup clash.
McLeish is still waiting on the specialists report for Charles N'Zogbia, but Gabby has already returned to training and the manager says he's looking sharp.
Speaking to the Official Site Eck said.
'Gabby has been out there and is fully over the stomach big he had. He trained well. Stevie and Emile trained separately and they both came through that well. Charles is more of a concern, maybe not this weekend.'
Ireland for himself has talked about a nice little FA Cup run this season to raise everybodies spirits.
Speaking elsewhere on the Official Site Ireland said.
'I had a niggle on my hamstring and I was gutted to miss the Wolves game. I'm sure I will be involved in some way on Sunday, hopefully I will get some sort of run out. I've never been very far in the cup so it would be nice to enjoy a run this year.'
