'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Albrighton's No Cheat

Marc Albrighton has insisted he didn't make the most of Karl Henry's kick in the Wolves match and he was disappointed that 'some' thought he did.

Speaking to the E&S Albie said.

'It does hurt a lot, especially when people in the crowd call you a cheat when I was the victim on the floor getting kicked. It hurt when I read the papers, but I suppose that's football. It does spur you on to do better when people are booing you and calling you a cheat.'

Albrighton added with a class that seems to elude Henry.

'He just maybe lost his head a little bit. I hold no grudges against him whatsoever.'

In an interview with Sky they carry comments with Albie saying he has a nice bruise from the incident, but Henry maintains he made the most of it even though he now admits he was a silly boy.

Only a complete moron could possibly accuse Albrighton of cheating in this particular incident, but then the Wolves fans who were booing him are obviously in that category, along with Lawrenson who said it looked like Albrighton made the most of the incident (Knob!). UTV

I don't care if he did make the most of it, these days if you aren't obvious you don't get the decisions.

He was writhing about on the floor as if he was wrestling with an octopus. Has he stopped rolling yet??

Karl Henry is the wolves captain for gods sake. He is the one who should be setting a better example to the younger footballers. And what was Mcarthy doing deflecting all the blame onto Mark Albrighton? Henry and Mcarthy are two pea's in a very rotten pod.

all the players exaggerate the fouls these days, can't say I like it. I like the Dennis Mortimer days, he said that you would always try NOT to show an opponent that they had hurt you !
