Robbie's Keane Return To Wolves

Robbie's Keane Return To Wolves

Robbie Keane marked his return to the Black Country with a brace that inspired us to all 3 points.

Speaking to Sky Sports following the 3-2 victory our on loan striker was rather refreshingly honest about our performance.

'I think the first 15 minutes we played very well and kept the ball on the ground. They couldn't cope with us, but then after that when we got the goal, we seemed to drop off and certainly Wolves were the better team in the first half.'

Keane adds that there was a 'chat' at half time, and the team came out determined to replicate the first 5 minutes for the whole of the second half.

'We had a chat at half time and we went out and did the same as we did in the first 15 by keeping the ball on the ground and make them work for it, which they did. I think that's what got the result in the end.'

Keane obviously enjoyed his return to the Molineux and was delighted with his goals, but said he had fond memories of his time at the club.

'I had wonderful times at Wolves. They looked after me as a kid and I'll never forget that, but at the end of the day you have to be professional and do your job for the team you're with and that's Aston Villa.'

Cant begrudge Keano scoring, though he certainly found the wrong time to find such scintillating form for us Wolfies... Honestly, after the break neither Villa or Wolves were that good (aprt from Keane), but whatever was said at half time reversed fortunes and if ever Ive left a game with a lump in my throat it was this one. Enjoy the 3 points, I can only hope this pushes muppet mccarthy closer to the door.

AdMant, you seem a good sport and gracious in defeat fair play, on the radio i listened to the match and they said Frimpong for you was the best player on the pitch so him getting injured may have helped our course, but Keano has proved a lot of us villans wrong and showed he has still got it, that 3 points today should see us safe, but wolves seem in big trouble with qpr spending a fortune blackburn starting to pick points up.

admant why are you a low life piece of scum, why not join these low life dirty vile scum, when frimpong was getting treatment the vile fans were cheering, it was serious for the guy, but all these low life gutter dwellers could do was cheer, albrighton had better watch his back because one day somebody will give the dirty b£$%^&d a good kicking, kean is a mercenry and is taking the vile for every penny he can get but you are too thick and dim to see it, I just hope your lot got a good kicking after the match, you are low life, sperm gutter dwellers, no low life is not low enough for you lot, you are repugnant, detestable abaddon.

Occasionally on forums you may find people have a different opinion to you. It is advisable in that instance to give an eloquent and reasoned argument against it. If you can not do this then a simple..”SorryI am 12 years old and I disagree” will suffice. johnwolf this is the approach you should have taken.

Haha keane is taking us for every penny? I think you will find he is just doing what we are paying him to do. As for albrighton getting a good kicking, didn't you notice that's exactly what he got from Henry? Nothing like dignity in defeat is there :) all the best in the championship
