I am pleased to have him back. Hopefully he can get back to full fitness with us (hopefully for the rest of the season). We can send him back to you raring to go next season. Still only 20 and learning the game but he was head and shoulders above anyone for us in League One before he joined you.

Hope your right Dazza, he is a great prospect but his biggest problem is he likes to play football but under our current manager football is not allowed only hoofball...

Kerry, the real problem is that he never really got a run in the team before getting injured and has never seemed that confident since. He needs playing time and hopefully he will get that at Leeds and come back a more confident player. If the hoofball comment was right, Ireland would still be in the reserves where Hoola Hoop put him or back at Newcastle. Delph needs to toughen up a bit, get his tackling timing back on track and believe in himself. Then we will see a different midfielder next season, unless of course GG has established himself instead.

You might notice a few differences to when you had him dazza err his tackles can be slightly wild sometimes.

Yes, there's definitely something there. Good luck to him. Shame we couldn't send Eck out on loan......

Merlin he was worse at tackle's when at Leeds ,supposed to be like that even in training but always looked comfortable on the ball and was very attacking and has some great passes, it was league 1 but the potential is there, just needs a manager that can make it a reality and I agree Gordon about Ireland but they are different players Ireland is more of an attacking mid while Delph is a center mid but likes to go forward but McIdiot expects him to sit deep as more of a holding midfielder which he is clearly not and I think McIdiot gives Ireland a more free role, well as much as the Idiot can give...

Merlin -His tackles have always been wild. We are dirty Leeds, we like that sort of thing.
