Protest Banners Or Not?

Protest Banners Or Not?

Pretty simple question asked in our last poll.

McLeish Out Banners?
Poll Date: 18 Jan 2012
Suggested By: revolutionatlast

No banners, they will crush players confidence 41%

Next time we go behind 31%
At the end of the next match with bad result 19%
Next time we go behind playing 'Eck style' 3%

Making 53% saying yes in one form or another.

The other results:

See where we are in a month or two and ask again 5%

Unsure 1%

Sad time that the talk of protests are returning. :o( Villa will be the death of us!

The club should be paying us to turn up and have to endure this kind of anti-football. Heard more excuses from this manager than any other, (O'Leary included.) I don't see the problem with banners post game after the players have gone into the dressing room regardless, unless we actually play well (which has only happened once or twice this season and more to do with the opposition playing badly than us playing well anyway.)

and replace him with who? and that person will have even LESS cash than AMC because of the contract we'll have to pay off. No. No thanks. It's time to knuckle down. Demand more of the players than they are giving. Far more. They have it in them. But they are lazy bone-idle excuses right now (except Stan and Gabby). Back the team and the man at the helm.

Keep it away from matchday at the ground IMO. The 'Houllier out' banner at the Wolves or Blackburn game last season (can't remember which) was dragged off anyway wasn't it. The problem with that is it makes it onto Match Of the Day which the players watch. If it just made the local news with a protest outside the ground they wouldn't watch that anyway would they (he he) but the media and PR folks at VP would. What I would like is not to hear our so-called home fans booing players. You rarely hear it at away matches where there is more likely to be a larger majority of genuine fans. Consequently there seems to be less pressure on them and they play a bit better (possibly...)

I don't think it will help players or our success. But I think we should start chanting 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2, 4-4-2,
