Mystic Mug v Lawro Faceoff: Wolves v Villa

Mystic Mug v Lawro Faceoff: Wolves v Villa

Mystic Mug isn`t happy, he is now 7-7 with Lawro but he was going to say a 2-1 loss but refuses to be the same as the BBC pundit!

Anyway, he says this predicting game is easy with Villa, just say a draw... hence 1-1 is Mystics prediction.

Lawro told the BBC sports site that Wolves made 10 changes v Blues in the FA Cup so you can`t pay much attention to their loss.

"The thing with Mick McCarthy's side is that they are obviously capable of scrapping for points at places where people think they will get beaten, but now they have to cash in on that by winning games like this one, against a mid-table side like Aston Villa at home."

And he explains that he`ll back Wolves because they have more confidence and were 'spirited` in their draw at White Hart Lane.

Adding "I just get the sense that Villa boss Alex McLeish is going to have to change the mentality in his squad a little bit, because I am not sure he has got enough winners. There are too many players who are happy to coast along and the only way he is going to be able to change that is by getting rid of them and bringing in some new faces."

"I just get the sense that Villa boss Alex McLeish is going to have to change the mentality in his squad a little bit, because I am not sure he has got enough winners." Nonsense. We've got enough in our squad to pull together and beat Chelsea 3-1 on their own turf. The only reason we can't string more than one victory together is down to leadership, or the lack thereof. McLeish is a clueless idiot.

I think that the players also have a lot to answer, OK I'm Not McLeishs biggest fan but what I would say is there appears to be a lack of interest from several players...Dunne, Collins, Warnock....get rid of them, I would include Hutton, but I don't think its lack of interest more he's not good enough.

Agree with you about Hutton and Warnock mate, both complete liabilities. Get rid.

Lawro is only marginally better at predicting results than my dog.

I would swap McIdiot for Mick in a heartbeat , and the main mentallity that has to change is McIdiots, he is the 1 that has given us a LOSING mentality
