Herd Suffers Recovery Setback

Chris Herd looks likely to be out for an additional month as his ankle issue hasn't cleared up as quickly as originally expected.

Speaking to the Official Site Alex McLeish revealed that the 22 year old was still wearing his protective boot, so was no where near making a comeback to the first team yet.

'It's a slightly longer term one with Chris, so he's still missing at the moment. He's got the boot on again and it depends how he feels when he takes that off. The last time he took it off, it was still sore.'

As for prospective return times, he added.

'If they take the boot off and he's not got any discomfort then it could be another month.'

A shame as he's been our best young player this season. I think Clark is filling his place well enough.
VILLA 4 LIFE
Well he`s in the new cher lloyd video so he can`t be that injured.
