No Mental Block At Home

No Mental Block At Home

Shay Given has insisted that he relishes playing in front of the passionate support at Villa Park and he doesn't believe the players have a mental block on home turf.

Speaking to the Official Site following the disappointing draw with Everton, Given said he was glad to get back on the pitch but thought we deserved the 3 points.

'I have been out for a few weeks and it's a great place to play football. Personally I was really looking forward to the game. It was brilliant to play in front of the crowd again and I think the players should look at it that way. We are privileged to play at Villa Park in front of passionate fans.'

So whilst it sounds true for Given, who has certainly won us points this season, if the players should be looking at it the way he does then clearly some don't.

And they know where the door is.

sadly he's seen very little of our passionate support at home, but like his full quotes ... wish more players realised what an honour it is to play in the PL
