Villa DO NOT Make It 5 Home Losses In A Row

A simple warning to the Villa manager and players. Don`t embarrass the fans or yourselves today.

The very least needed is a draw. If they lose, they equal our worst home run of losses, five in 1963:

www.statto.com/football/teams/aston-villa

Last four home games:

Aston Villa 0 - 1 Man Utd
Aston Villa 0 - 2 Liverpool
Aston Villa 1 - 2 Arsenal
Aston Villa 0 - 2 Swansea

Today?

It is up to the team and the manager. The fans always respond when the team shows passion and desire.

Our last home win was the 3-2 game v Norwich.

All the home results so far this season:

Aston Villa 3 - 1 Blackburn
Aston Villa 0 - 0 Wolves
Aston Villa 1 - 1 Newcastle
Aston Villa 2 - 0 Wigan
Aston Villa 1 - 2 WBA
Aston Villa 3 - 2 Norwich
Aston Villa 0 - 1 Man Utd
Aston Villa 0 - 2 Liverpool
Aston Villa 1 - 2 Arsenal
Aston Villa 0 - 2 Swansea

3 home wins only... 2 draws and a disgraceful 5 home losses and they wonder why fans are moaning!

Then again, just 2 wins on the road isn`t exactly a great away form either. 6 draws, 2 losses.

Villa are drifting at 13th in the Prem with just 23 points.

At least there is a little gap (7 points) between us and the bottom teams. A few wins could see us shoot up a few places, we are just 6 points off the heady heights of 8th!

COME ON VILLA.

Trouble is, it's only a few weeks since the optimists were saying " We not playing good stuff, but we're still 8th (or 9th). Crucial game today against one of the best organised teams in the division. We lose the ball, they won't give it back easily. They are not pretty, but do maximise their resources well. (Unlike Villa, could be to do with the manager). It will not be a very exciting game, as Everton will try do quieten the crowd, and then get the fans to turn on the home side. All looks predictable to me. 1-1 if we are lucky, 0-1 if we are not. Still keep hoping. Interested in who he leaves out for Robbie Keane. If I was Gabby, and I got left out, I would be giving Big Eck an envelope this evening.

Gabby will not be left out, Keane will be brought on from the bench in the second half. COTVABU

Robbie Keane will start, score be sub'd 60 mins and you will lose 2-1. Everton are a big club with top 4 aspirations.

Everton aren't a big Club, in our forum someone has pointed out income etc is less than Fulham. Nice attempt at winding us up though Teddy.
The Fear
Everton, they remind me a bit like the scum. Alway's having to play second fiddle to their much bigger & more succesful neighbour's. Never mind eh!
