Lawro says a 2-1 win to Villa on BBC Sport
He says both Everton and Villa are 'mid table material`. Sad to read but true. Even sadder, "they seem to be drifting in no-man's land at the moment."

He also ...blimey, he`s laying the boot in here... says despite bringing in Keane on loan, we are now a selling club.
He also says Everton are treading water.
He finally gets to the game and says:
"As for the game, it will be tight. Moyes will gee his players up after the Spurs match, while with Villa you are never quite sure what you are going to get. They were poor in their last home league game against Swansea but comfortable in their FA Cup win over Bristol Rovers. Because they have home advantage I think they might just sneak this one, although I think Everton might end up a couple of places above Villa come May, if only because I think that even on a bad day they remain very competitive."
Not sure he realises that IF Villa don`t win, we`ll have equalled our worst ever home run of five losses on the trot in 1963!

first game I ever saw, 1978, Villa 1 up (Andy Gray I think) only to lose 2-1 to Everton. I hated them throughout my childhood! lol

Lawro is just a cock, I was cringing at his blatantly biased commentary of the Liverpool Man City game the other night, apparently having 8 in the box all second half is a 'professional display' !! if it were us, Newcastle, Stoke or Sunderland it would have been 'defending for our lives', he thinks Johnsons two footed challenge was ok ! (can u tell I hate the arrogant**** yet ?)........... he still thinks Liverpool are the second best team in England !! ........... he also never ever says good things about us ........... anyway back to it, we are still a top ten outfit this year if we can start believing in ourselves and picking up points.......... 3-1 Villa and juddy the monkey is already placed. Agree with milan, he's a complete berk. Read it on the bbc and again he tells everyone we are a selling club mentioning bent only to say he doesn't know where he would go. Thought it was a done deal to Liverpool? Anyway I'm not feeling confident at all, we have a good record against everton but always seem to push our luck against them. I have a feeling they owe us one. 2-0 loss, hope I'm wrong.
