Aston Villa have signed Carlos Tevez for 5 minutes in a 600,000 deal. Manager Alex McCleish said "I'm very proud of this deal. Carlos will give the team a wealth of Premiership experience. He's great in the dressing room, and dynamite on the pitch." Randy Lerner was especially excited about the 5 minute loan deal, exclaiming "Er...soccer." Tevez said "I'm very pleased the deal could be done. We've done nothing but talk about this deal for the past 6 months, I just can't wait to let my feet do the talking for an entire 300 seconds. The visa is sorted, I'm good to go." Villa have signed signed Robbie Keane from LA Galaxy on another incredible short-term deal.

Unless it's a youngster going out to gain league experience, I'm against loans. Someone of Keane's experience etc stink of " cheap and cheerful" - which weighs up Aston Villa perfectly at present. Well, perhaps not that "cheerful"!!!!!!

What this loan deal could do if it works well between Keane & bent is Tell Lerner & co we need to spend money in the summer to get a player like Keane to link up with bent.

if it means heskey drops down the pecking order and never plays for us again then im all for it. although heskey is going to be out for 4 weeks or so anyway so there wasn't really much need.
