Yawn.Villa Paper Transfer Talk..Collins To Spurs?!

The Express have new QPR manager wanting Darren Bent before he is even appointed!

Bent has been linked with QPR before as, the rumour says, he wants to move back to London. However, surely the paper could give Hughes time to at least be appointed before another link?!

The Metro claim that Spurs want, wait for it, James Collins. The report says Villa will entertain offers over £3million for the 28 year old.

Hmmm.... James Collins? Spurs? Hoof? They`ll love it.

The Sun have a player half linked to us, Niko Kranjcar saying he will stay and fight at Spurs. Kranjcar said: 'I believe my future is at Tottenham — the manager has stuck by me. I want to get in shape and have a good Euro 2012. That's why I'm staying. To get fit for the Euros.'

I know its all rumours but is it just me that thinks Collins for £3m would b an absolute bargain if true,in his prime at 28,Welsh captain, and i personally feel the best of our central defenders.Just cant see us getting anyone much better for even double that.,Opinions welcomed???

Maybe Spurs would be interested in swap deal....Collins for Jenas seems like a great bit of business?

Tottaly agree highlands he doesnt score own goals or give penalties away for fun, and barring Clark would agree the best cd we have got and if Samba is worth 12 mill then Collins is worth at least 8 mill. Yes I know he hoofs it now and again but show me a central defender who doesnt and with our midfield would you pass to Heskey ?

Ramsey is Wales captain, not James 'have it' Collins. in my humble opinion £3m is about spot on for him, solid but not much else and will put too much air under the ball to fit in at Spurs

£5m and they may have a deal, if it moves Clark up the pecking order I am all for it. Dunne and Collins are great for 89 mins of a game. However the 1 minute they are not is usually the bit that swings the game to our opponents!
