Swedish Defender And Aussie Striker Linked

Swedish Defender And Aussie Striker Linked

So the Robbie Keane deal is apparently at the stage where it will either be sorted out by Monday or it won`t go through. So there you go!

James Nursey at The Mirror says that James Collins will be leaving and claims QPR have been told that they can buy him but not for the £3m reported before, Villa want £5million.

McLeish wants West Bromwich Albions`s 28-year-old Swedish defender Jonas Olsson to replace him.

Apparently Olsson has just 18 months left on his current deal and has failed to agree new terms at The Hawthorns.

Sounds good to me, the last Swede we had in defense was ok eh?!?!

The Sun say that Carlos Cuellar could soon be back in his home country of Spain with both Espanyol and Villarreal interested.

They quote him but it is short, not sure if the paid for version has more but put simply, I won`t pay! He said: 'A return to Spain is an attractive proposition."

The Sun also says that Villa are after Australia international striker Bret Holman who is set to leave AZ Alkmaar. Apparently Fulham and Blackburn are also interested.

May as well have kept Ridgewell and Cahill they may have gelled by now . It would have saved us Millions and we'd still have won nothing just the same.

We won't be able to attract any players who are better than our youngsters, so better off sticking with and developing them.

Isn't Olssen the scumbag who got Herd sent off. Have watched him since, he is not very good.

Brett Holman is a good player who works hard, gets some goals. Not a Drogba, but there are a lot worse. Played a lot of internationals for the Socceroos against very good opposition.

The linesman is the scumbag that got Herd sent off 2big, don't think Olssen was trying for anything, except to hold on to Herd's leg for a while.

Olssen is mediocre at best. He's not fit to clean Cuellar or Clarkes boots.
