difficult one isn't it? Players hold all the cards these days... shame.

As much as i'd like to see him leave, only if he were to come to the lane, you are right in saying its a shame. But at least he hasnt held you to ransom or not put 100% in when he does play. You could def do with keeping him though. Happy Xmas Vital Villa, see you all on here Boxing day

I'd have him here at Spurs but not for 20m! Maybe 10-15m with a exchanged player-pick of Keane, Dos Santos or Bentley

As Lady Bracknell might say: To lose two star players, Mr Lerner, may be regarded as a misfortune; to lose a third looks like carelessness.

To be honest he should have signed ages ago if he wanted to. How long does it take him to sign a contract....... 5 seconds. All this " I dont want it affecting my game bulls**t" really is taking the michael! Gabby has just signed a new 4 year deal and to be honest I wont be too disappointed if he goes. His crossing has gone to pot and his endless tantrums when he doesn't get the right ball is embarrassing! Even when he does get possession he tries to knock 45 yard cross field passes which are not required. if he went back to his normal game, and not try to be the player he isn't he might get the fans back on his side. I cant argue with the effort he puts in, but football is more than that. if its just effort you want.......watch Blues......all effort but not a decent footballer in sight!!!

I'm surprised at some of the stick Ash gets by some of our own fans on here but at the same time during the games I think he is supported more than any other player right now. At least his name is sung by the Holte more than any other. Yeah he throws a few tantrums but he does get serious close attention from defenders. I would love him to sign a new contract. Maybe he wants to see the type of players GH plans to sign before he makes his decision. I'm sure he'll go no where in January.
