Aston Villa Linked With Russian + Few Exits

Alan Nixon of The Mirror has another link for Steve Sidwell to West Ham.

Previous reports have said he would go on loan until the end of the season, this was says he was down in London agreeing terms this week adding, the cost of the move depends on whether the Hammers survive with only a small up front fee being paid. He can leave on a free in the summer so it can`t cost much anyway can it?

Be nice to see the flop leave to be fair.

Talksport are linking us with a 1million big for 19-year-old Lokomotiv Moscow player Alan Gatagov. The Russian Under-21 international midfielder Gatagov said: 'I am opened to leaving the club if the offer is right for all the parties concerned.' Apparently Villa are in the driving seat for his signature. Talking about driving, Top Gear is back this week!

Robbie Keane blah, blah, blah... The Spurs striker is being linked to a six month loan to West Ham. Also linked along with us (again, and again and again!) are Blues, Everton and Wolves.

The Metro say Stephen Ireland is attracting interest from Everton, West Ham and Fulham. Hmmm. The report also uses the now old quotes from Houllier: 'Once a player wants to go, he goes. He said he wanted to go in January. He said that to his agent. I am not so convinced about that. Have I told him to move? No, no, no. Once a player wants to go, he goes. Simple as that....I think we will be looking to get the same kind of money back. The club probably would.`

The Daily Mail repeat the link to 28-year-old Newcastle United Joey Barton who he also tried to sign when he was Liverpool boss.
