Albie Spurred On For Tottenham

Albie Spurred On For Tottenham

After our match against Wigan was postponed due to the weather, Marc Albrighton has turned his attention to picking up 3 points against Happy Harry's lot.

Describing himself as 'frustrated and deflated' upon learning the Wigan clash was called off, Albie wants to make sure we keep the momentum going from the Baggies clash despite the extended break.

Speaking on the Official Site our wing wonder said:

'It was a frustrating weekend, definitely. We went down the day before and when you get there you just want to play. It was a big game too because we really wanted to pick up 3 points.'

With Villa now to face Happy Harry's bunch, Albie says the team are definitely aware of how important picking up results are over this period as we now have a run of some good tough games to get through.

'It's an exciting festive programme. We have tough games coming thick and fast. But we want to build on what we did against the Baggies and get some points against Tottenham. The fact is we're all in good spirits and relishing the next game.'

Good fighting talk again as ever, we'll all be happier if that translates into 3 points.
