'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Lawro v Mystic Mug Face Off v Wigan

lost his balls last week and didn`t back Villa for the first time, hence they won! Maybe he should try the trick again!? However he won`t, he`s polished his balls and says 2-0 to the Villa.

Lawro says an away win to Villa as well, his prediction is 2-1 to us.

The BBC pundit says the win v Baggies was massive for Villa following the pressure piling on Houllier. "Wigan were battered in their draw at Everton last week but could actually have nicked it at the end themselves. Villa's form is still not great but at least they got a win under their belts after a five-game run without a victory, and I think they will build on that at the DW Stadium."

BBC site has their preview linked from this page later: Click Here

What are your predictions fine folks of Vital?

Other match coverage:

Paul Brown: Gary McAllister admits the steady flow of first team stars back into training is 'massive' as Villa look to charge up the Barclays Premier League table. Nigel Reo-Coker and Emile Heskey have both returned to the fields of Bodymoor Heath, with Fabian Delph 'bursting' to reinvigorate his claret and blue career after a lengthy spell on the sidelines. Dan Harrison: Barry Bannan says the Villa squad have been training with an extra spring in their step this week and has urged his team-mates to keep the momentum going in Saturday's clash against Wigan. Full article: www.avfc.co.uk

Lawro hasnt a clue what he is talking about and most weeks says we are going to get hammered so a 2-0 defeat is probably praise from him, 2-1 Latics win, we will surprise you if you think we are poor

In Lawro's table for the season to date (going by his predictions), Liverpool are fifth, West Ham are ninth and Blackpool are rock bottom with just eight points. As you can see, if indeed it ever needed confirming, Lawro's predictions are rarely 'on the ball'. We have to win tomorrow, we need a good performance too. As we all well know (some of us more than others, because we've been present), away performances/results to date have not been good. In fact on the contrary. Personally I dont know what to say about tomorrow. If we dont turn up, which has been the case all too often, then we'll get beat. Simple as that. My heart though says a 2-0 Villa success, so I'll go with that.

I don't think I've ever seen Lawro give us a clean sheet. Ever. The other wotsisface says we'll win 1-0. Hopefully he's as good as Stringer Bell was last week.
