Youth Team To Go Posh With Rovers Win

Villa's next generation will face Peterborough in the 4th round of the FA Youth Cup if they overcome Bristol Rovers.

Tony McAndrew takes his charges to the Memorial Stadium on January 12 for the third round tie after the game had to be rearranged owing to that unfortunate bout of snow we had.

The draw for the 4th round has now taken place and the winners will travel to London Road, so hopefully it means our lads have another away trip!

That'll do for me. We are going to Bristol Rovers in January, so pencil us in for the trip to Peterborough too. Got to support the young lads, and its good to see them in action. The playing of the reserve team fixtures at Bodymoor Heath, lunchtime, mid-week is something of a disappointment, so the youth team games is the only real chance we now get to see the Villa Park youngsters.
