BeardMasterFlex asks, are we being fickle? Is it too early for us to start jumping on the manager's back? Well, I'm about as fed up with watching Villa as anyone else right now. Although I'm living in Aus these days and not able to attend matches I do my best to watch the games staying up very late or getting up very early to watch them, and believe me I have often why I don't just sleep through the games lately given how poor we've been. WH Taylor presents... Houllier: A case for his defence.. As I do with all Villa managers, when Gerard Houllier was appointed I did some research on him, brought 3 biographies' on him and generally got a feeling of what he was about and what sort of manager we were getting. Full article:

Jonathan Hogg has become the latest youngster to pen a contract extension and has extended his stay at B6 until at 2013. Speaking on the Official Site Hogg was delighted with the outcome and said: 'I've worked hard to get to this point and I know I have to continue to work hard if I want to keep improving. I love the club and I'm delighted to be here and playing a part in what we're trying to achieve.' Full article: Hogg Latest To Pen Extension

Apart from the first half against Arsenal and 90% of the Liverpool game, i thought we have actually played some good football; A bit more luck in front of goal and less deflected goals at our end and things wouldn't look quite so bad!! Good article JF
