Palace & Boro Youngsters Linked To Villa

Palace & Boro Youngsters Linked To Villa

Just two small links today as far as I can see.

The one is Middlesbrough`s England U-21 keeper Jason Steele. The report in The Mirror says Houllier has been tipped off that Steele could compete with Joe Hart for England`s goalie spot.

Apparently Arsenal are also interested and would be prepared to pay £4million for him. The report also admits Boro don`t want to sell their home grown stars but with money tight and a large wage bill......?

Also in The Mirror Villa, amongst a host of other clubs, are linked to Crystal Palace and England U-19 right-back Nathaniel Clyne who has turned down several contract offers from Palace.

So far we have:

Vital Boxing - Bellew Wants Lebedev Next

Now I have a nephew in London (but he is a big Villa fan of course), and the palace kid is a gem apparently. He has seen him play several times when he does not travel to Villa Park.

I saw young Nathanial in the gym last season and mentioned to him that Villa would be a good move...get his agent onto it....mainly as I knew the Blues were after him. Unfortunately he said he had no idea of any interest from Villa and walked over to the weights leaving me walking steadily uphill on the "running" machine

I've been calling for Clyne since we played Palace in the FA Cup last season...he was man of the match in the tie at Selhurst Park, not giving Ash a sniff.
