Gerard Houllier has said that Reo-Coker should be back in contention for a first team place in about a fortnight after returning to light training. Speaking to SSN Houllier confirmed that Reo was back in training and had done some running, but that he was probably 2 weeks away from being properly fit. 'Nigel has done some running, maybe in two weeks, he'll be back.' Full article: Reo-Coker Back In A Fortnight

Fieldy: Gerard Houllier has said he wants Gabby Agbonlahor to lay of the weights a little and protect his blistering pace from here on in. Speaking to a variety of press, (but these quotes taken from the Daily Mail) Gerard warned Gabby that hitting the gym will not help him recover his form following a spate of injuries and illness but if he works too hard pumping the iron, he's worried his pace will suffer. 'He's shown in terms of speed and goalscoring he has qualities of a high level. Unfortunately his injuries have set him back. When you build up too much it affects your joints and muscle. The fact is, I think he should stop, he's too stocky.' Full article: Gabby Told To Leave Off The Weights

Fieldy: Burton manager Paul Peschisolido has been hugely impressed with Villa youngster James Collins and is hoping he can extend his stay. Full article: Collins Impressing At Burton

CustardCream: I was once driving to a local spa town to do a bit of shopping on a warm, summers day. I had the air conditioning turned on within my car and the drive was going as well as you could expect. And then something caught my eye. Emerging, slowly, from one the air vents was a rather big wasp.... full rant: In The Bleak Mid-Winter: Some Villa Thoughts
