Collins Impressing At Burton

Burton manager Paul Peschisolido has been hugely impressed with Villa youngster James Collins and is hoping he can extend his stay.

Quoted on SSN the former Blues midget (sorry couldn't resist) has said he would be delighted to extend the youngsters loan given he's been such a success at the Pirelli Stadium.

'He has done a good job for us and he is enjoying his time here, he can't stop scoring at the moment and due to the fact he has managed to keep last season's top scorer out of the side, if we can keep him here longer then I will do.'

Pesch has Collins for another month as it is, and in 8 starts the non Welsh and non Ginger Collins has cracked in 5 goals, so it's turned into a very profitable loan for him.

Far, far better he remains at Burton in my eyes than returning to the reserves given how his time there has gone, he'll come on far more by playing regular, competitive football.

Great news - a forward who can score. We don't have (m)any of those.

To be honest he's doing pretty well down there. Or is it across there?
